The Bridge House Trust makes grants in excess of £17 million a year to charitable projects benefiting the inhabitants of Greater London. Since it began grant-making in 1995, it has awarded over £170 million in grants. Its sole trustee is the Corporation of London .  
Connexions is the government's support service for all young people aged 13 to 19 in England. The service aims to provide integrated advice, guidance and access to personal development opportunities for this group and to help them make a smooth transition to adulthood and working life.  

CONSTRUCTION WEB is dedicated to providing FREE advice and services to help local businesses to thrive and to assist local people onto high-quality training programmes and/or seek employment opportunities in the construction industry.

 
The European Regional Development Fund was set up in 1975 to stimulate economic development in the least prosperous regions of the European Union (EU). As EU membership has grown, the ERDF has developed into a major instrument for helping to redress regional imbalances. The Department for Transport, Local Government and the Regions manages the ERDF in England.  
The European Social Fund (ESF) is one of four Structural Funds designed to strengthen economic and social cohesion in the European Union.
The current programmes run from 2000 to 2006. ESF will provide about £4.5 billion in Great Britain (£3.5 billion in England) in this period.

It aims to harness the hundreds of billions of pounds spent by key government departments rather than relying on one-off regeneration spending. A range of different programmes have been established to determine local needs and to pilot new ways to fight deprivation in our poorest, most deprived communities
